Young Adult Leaders

One prevalent problem in our churches is the disappearance of people from ages 18 to 30 years old. Even the most active youth group students seem to go away to college and virtually disappear off of the radar of many local churches. There are many possibilities as to why this occurs, but one of the biggest reasons is that when they return, their home church no longer feels like home. Read More

Marketplace Leaders

The place for evangelization is in the marketplace, not the church building. Challenging, equipping and empowering marketplace leaders to influence, shape and transform the marketplace has to be a key strategic priority. LEx wants to make this happen. read more

Leadership Exchange

Building leaders from the “inside out.”
We hope to develop leaders who are Positioned, Prepared and (re)Producing themselves as Gods transformational people. Positioned - Strategically placed to shape and influence the church, communities and the nation. Disciple Making

Jesus was intentional, relational, and modeled a repeatable process of making disciples. His way was simple, worked, and led to long-term results. Shouldn't we be doing it His way?

We don’t need more strength or more ability or greater opportunity.
What we need to use is what we have.

Disciple Making

Jesus discipled the Twelve with intentionality, through authentic relationships, while modeling a simple process that we could repeat today. When discipleship is intentional, spiritual growth happens and produces servant leaders for the church and beyond.

Ethnic Leaders

To go and make disciples of all nations; those whom God has brought to our doorstep, we need to identify, train and raise ethnic leaders who will reach out to their own ethnic groups, be bridge builders into their communities and also enrich our church with great diversity.

Young Adults

The Young Adults ministry of The Leadership Exchange ministry of the CRC is ready to equip and encourage young adults in the church to serve God and care for others by becoming leaders in the church and kingdom not only in the US but also worldwide.

Marketplace

Globally, 98% of Christians are neither envisioned nor equipped for mission in 95% of their waking lives. We want to see the whole church take the Gospel to the whole world; to the people that 2.1 billion Christians meet day-by-day in offices, factories, fields, shops, clubs and streets.

RELEASE 1.0

The numbers tell the story. The North American (and indeed the western) church is in decline and the CRCNA is no exception. For a number of reasons, the church (as we commonly refer to it) is not growing at the same rate it used to 30-40 years ago. North America is changing from being a “missionary sending” nation to a “missionary accepting” one. Read more

Disciple Making

When Jesus commanded his disciples to "go and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19), he spoke the mission statement for the church. Jesus told his disciples to do what he had done during his three years of ministry. Jesus made disciples by selecting a few into whom he poured his life. Read more... Read more

Ethnic Leader Development

Diversity is a gift from God, to the world, to the church. Or, is it, I wonder. If Adam (and Eve) hadn’t sinned and Babel did not happen, would we be all speaking the same language and eating the same food, wearing the same clothes (or none) and singing the same songs? Never mind the speculation though, the reality is that diversity is a part of us whether we like it or not. Read more
